How does Motosense work?
Motosense contains a state of the art GPS receiver, a 3-axis accelerometer, security system and GSM/GPRS module all built in to a compact, weatherproof unit. These components work together to detect location, movement, speed, shock, distance, battery voltage. This information is transmitted through a data cellular connection to our secure tracking server, which you can access with the free Motosense application and, Motosense Theft Tracking Map via any web browser.
Using these interfaces, you can view current as well as historical reports and interact with your vehicle. Motosense incorporates advanced theft prevention, GPS tracking, SMS and Motosense app push alerts with programs that allow motorcycle enthusiasts to document and share their riding experience. Motosense requires a Motosense plan, which includes a data plan service to be fully functional as a GPS/GPRS system.
The Motosense device has been installed, what do I do next?
Download the Motosense app and sign up. Once you have created a Motosense account on the app, you will then want to sync the device to the application. Go to profile > Devices > and tap the “Add device +”. Complete Add device steps and you are done. If you have not purchased a Motosense plan yet, you will do this in the add device steps.
How do I know my Motosense device is working?
You will know your Motosense device is working as the map will show a motorcycle icon where your bike is, and show a battery voltage in the information box on the app. If you have just activated the device, and not ridden the bike yet, you may not see a location. Please allow up to 1 hour for the first location to be reported.
Where can I find my tracking information?
You can access all tracked information from the RIDES section. All ride information is saved securly on our server for you to access at any time. Only save the rides you want to keep or share with friends.
What happens if my motorcycle is stolen?
With current and historical reporting capabilities, Motosense will report where your motorcycle is and where it has been in the app. In the case of theft, activating “Share Location” mode in Profile section will generate a PIN number that you can give to authorities along with the URL track.motosense.com. Authorities can then log in with that PIN and immediately locate the stolen vehicle in real-time. The pin is active for 24hrs from the time its started. The URL will only show new information from the time it is generated. Historical information will not be shared. You can cancel the pin and access at any time.
How can I update my subscription?
Log into My Account where you can access all account information like your orders, active subscriptions, address, payment methods, and more.
